The best classic games never die, they just change and transform. Asteroids is, of course, no exception, as is shown by this Maelstrom.
Of course Maelstrom has better graphics than the original Asteroids, and is also much more exciting. You not only have to avoid and destroy hundreds of asteroids that fill the screen, but also skillfully manoeuvre your ship so attacks from patrols don`t defeat you.
Although, without doubt, the biggest danger in Maelstrom is having to fight against another ship that`s identical to yours, which has the same weapons and wants to destroy you.
